How to LST a Bushy Plant?

This one is almost 4 weeks from seed.

It's 3" tall and about 10" wide.

How would one go about starting to train it without driving the leaves into the soil?

Or is it not yet necessary with a plant like this?

tie string to the middle of the plant (not tight). you then pull the plant as far as you think it will go, and then steadily increase the tensions as weeks go on. i've pulled them flat before just takes some time.

You can top it and let the branches fill out.

Whats your light schedule? I heard if the time is 24/0 the nodes are closer together and if its 18/6 the plant stretches out a bit more
