how to lower soil ph? lemon juice?

yea, i have tried lemon juice and vinegar before but it always seemed to make things worse, maybe i used too much. so anyone know? this seems to be an elusive answer, how to lower soil ph... any guesses?

Adding 4 ml of vineger per gallon of water lowers my ph 1.0 +/-

Nitric acid or phosphoric acid are the best pH downs for horticulture.


Most brands you'll find will use phosphoric, but some also use nitric. Nitric is better at dissolving lime.
