How to Keep Animals Away from Grow Site

Hello Fellow Growers,

So basically my last plant got eaten by a deer before it could even take off. I know it was a deer cause Bambi left his little foot prints. I don't want to make the same mistake.

How can I keep animals away?

And what animals do I have to keep away?

Allegedly you can keep deer and some other animals away by spreading human hair around the grow site. My mom owned a hair salon and my dad tried to do this to keep away rabbits that were eating our flowers like it was an all you can eat salad bar. I have never tried this for deers but i did see it in the movie "The Rookie" and it worked for them. Of course it was only a movie and it was for a baseball field. But if it was on tv it had to be true.

Rabbits-no
Deer- incunclusive

For a tried and true method use deodorant soap on a stick. I use irish spring. Deer hate man made smelly shit. Also sprinkle moth balls around the patch they smell also. The moth ball trick i picked up from BrownDirt but the soap is a local secret.

I have a problem with skunks and raccoons for just the first couple of weeks.

They dig up the loose soil mix sometimes ripping the plant right out.Lost one last year.

There is info on various Pesty Animals in the Library on the Dirt Doctor web site. Rabbit, Deer, Skunks, etc. There is also a new Deer Repelant called "Bob X". There has been good reports.

Ive Heard Of Several Tricks To Keep Deer Away, Now As For The Other Animals Im Not Sure....But I Usually Try To Take A Piss Around My Plants, But If You Are trying A Big Ass Grow Like Me Then You Cant Piss Enough To Cover An Area Haha. Try Going To A Local Barber Shop & Getting Human Hair & Spreading It Around The Grow Area. The Deer Will Smell The Human Scent & Wont Come Near It...

OK Robert, here we go. First, did the hail fuck up you grow? Now, we got some good shit passing over. 100 year draught. I caught a cow & wrapped re-bar around it's neck. With the thunderstorms, hoping for quick-smoked Beef. I'm thinking served on corn tortillas with Armadillo Head Sauce. Well, of course, served on a bed of Polk Salad.
I got a water retention idea. I need to do a little fact quotes first. Topic is Cotton.
