about to make a grow tent w/panda film and a pvc frame, but im not sure how i am going to hang the light? the pvc doesnt seem strong enough?

I would get some pieces of wood either 2"x4"s or 2"x3"s
if you cant get those i would suggest using 1/4" plywood or luan sheeting
Cut into strips the exact width of your tent, using zip ties apply to the top 3 sides of your tent, and the bottom three sides. do not put any on the side of the door unless you put some on the very top.
You can also pick up a bunch of 3 way tees for the pvc and put in a ton of cross bars on the top.
this should help strengthen your tent and will allow for plenty of support to hang your light.
I hung my light in my tent I built last week, the light was 18 pounds when everything is connected to. I would say I got about an inch or two of drag/hang from the weight of the lamp.
my lamp was constructed out of a wood frame so it was super heavy.
