How to Grow in the Hood?

Yeah, I think he was looking for realistic advice...

"Just build a forcefield around your grow that lets 100% light through...only de-activate it when you want to visit the garden"
i only wish. like a light saber dome. i would feel bad for someone who entered my house, i got somethin for their ass. But my states law wont allow me to shoot people on my property unless they are an eminant danger to me. let them come in though they can meet the S&W500. I wouldnt even need to shoot, they would see that and have a heart attack.

What's up brother-
I live in the woods, and I still built a "weed cage" for my plants. We have Deer, Bear, Wild Boar, Racoons, Skunks, Squirrels, Rabbits, Rats, Turkeys, Horses, Cows, Gophers, Moles and Tweekers in my hood (no gangbangers) , so I built a weed cage using 6' chain-link fence. I used 20' 1" PVC pipe and bent it into an arch for the top, then laid wire over that (refer to the pictures). Cemented the bottom 12"into the ground (footing) and 6" up the chain link. I have electricity, and water plumbed to the cage. WORKS GREAT!

Second Idea-
Join a Co-op, and grow your medicine on property associated with a Co-op.. Their are co-ops where you give them a percentage of you medicine in return for the use of the land. Might be best in your situation.
Good Luck-

Nice pics! I'm doing a similar thing now that I'm a country boy. Deer and dogs would ruin the grow but also my state requires a garden be covered on all sides, even the top.

@PBE
I'm sure it's not the answer you want to hear, but don't do it. I have lived in the hood too and the thought of putting my plants outside even with the free light never even crossed my mind. The real danger is people thinking you have more inside and breaking in. You don't want that. It's just not worth it. Good luck.

is there anyways you can bring them inside at night? if not, maybe you could try LSTing or something to have them grow small. there has to be a way. build a greenhouse, grow a garden to blend them in with, etc just somehow make them less visible

PVC plastic and 5/8" pvc pipe. Construct a small greenhouse. At Lowes, they have wireless driveway detectors for $15. You use those around your plant area, gate, or access point and that will alert you of intruders. If noone can see the plant, they wont want to steal it.
