Trimming? lol I don't give a fk about the new " trimming any fkn sugar leaf off " deal. Mine are coated with frost, it weighs next to nothing so is basicly free if u happen to buy off me.
Sounds like your just lazy I'm glad I grow my own so I don't have to buy from lazy growers like you.

Damn straight im lazy. But I still don't get the trim everything deal. If you like it trimmed up hard then thats fine to. Different areas and states and countries seem to have different preferences. I trim for my preference which just happens to suit the daily smokers in their 40s and 50s who are my customers.
If someone doesn't want to buy off me then thats fine to, its not like the very small amounts I move hang around young fella.

Funny how not much real usable help came from your post..
To make growing easy -----

First off, forget about coughing! Focus on the growing!

Wall, mylar....Any wall and ceiling you can paint - Ceiling paint - flat white!

Concrete floors? Put your pots on peice's of foam insulation - Home depo or any big box do it yourself place.

Pick a REAL strain and find it in seed or clone form. PAY the fucking price for it (as long as you know it's the real one)!!!

Hmm, kicked in the balls buzz?

Everybody will have their own favorite choice here.

I suggest.

REAL !

GG#4
Gelato 33
The right Sundae Driver pheno in clone form
Skies Over Paris

Grow in soil

Use Botanicare KIND line,Use it as charted but cut the BASE part amount in half in bloom after the first week.
Use a Mg sulfate and a K sulfate supplement
Ask nicely and I can tell you how to make it your self for PENNY'S on the dollar! AND how to use it properly!
Learn to water everyday, just enough to carry you to the next day at lights on.
Do not try "more"! "More" is actually less!
Be patient.... Learn what done is....It's not all trich's and coloring of them! Some don't color at all!

Dry it in a 70 F area with no light and moving air at as close to 50% rh as you can, dry the materail with some stems on till they crack and NOT simply bend when bent 90 deg.
This should take about 2 weeks.

Jar them and let them sit in the jar for 10 days - burp the jars daily.

Now add 58% Bovida packs to each jar and let them sit for 4 to 6 more weeks...

Ready? Take out a bud, roll a fatty....Get blunt!

Want more or in detail?

Drop me a PM..
First off, I was going to pay for real seeds, I just wanted to get experience with bag seeds before I **** up a good seed lol. Also, I wanted to use botanicare line, but amazon was always sold out :(, I don't live near a store that has it that I'm aware, growing just became legal in Canada so one day it will. As for making homemade stuff, I want some more experience first knowing the plant's boundaries, mainly with training/deficiency/toxicity & curing. Lastly, I understand watering each day is ideal, but that is to overwhelming to me lol. I can buy pretty damn good weed here for $50 an ounce, I already feel like the effort exceeds that lol, although fun yet again :). I will PM you eventually I'm sure, I will try your curing method too, tyvm :)

Get some good seeds, not all are expensive, and learn as you go, as to what suits you.
If you like OG Kush there are plenty of OG Kush varieties in seed.

2 strong factors for weak weed:

Weak Lights = Weak Grow (there's a reason why growers spend big money on good lights. Growing with CFL's is a waste)
Also, Bad Genetics...

Idk anything about your seeds, but if you had good genetics those lights weren't going to bring out its potential. On the other hand, it doesn't matter how good your genetics may be if your lights are crappy.

It also takes longer to reach "maturation" when the plants aren't receiving enough light. Normally Indicas take around 7 to 9 weeks to mature. If you really grew your strain for 10 weeks and it looked like it was in its 6th week, then i blame your lights. Some people usually harvest the top colas when they're ready and let the larf grow for another week so it gets good direct light.

There's a bunch of other factors, but if you fix those 2 then you're halfway there.

If you're a new grower, try simplest nutrient regime you can find until you get comfortable with the whole process. It's much simpler than it sounds, but it takes experience to learn.

Something like "maxibloom" in coco+perlite, some "real growers recharge", half assed training and good lights will get you much better weed than half the stuff out there

Like I said it happened with OG Kush. As we all know though, it could have been a mistake but it didn't seem like it. This was at a dispensary. I know there's other way's of knowing, but I didn't have the microscope to check trichomes. This was taken on a very bad phone, but this is a picture of before I chopped my very first plant ever.
That was nowhere near done.

Where are you growing? That looks like it might be a bad place. You need to control your environment. Proper temps and humidity.

Flushing is a myth. You can grow organic or with bottled nutes and both taste good if done right. Don't overfeed the whole grow and try to flush it at the end. Feed what they need not what the bottle says.

The smoothness comes from the dry and cure. The slower the dry the better.

Most of this stuff can be found in there but will mostly come in time and practice. That means growing.

Contact botanicare directly and they will send a sample out for the cost of shipping.

I hear ya on the lights, but I didn't have to much choice. I know it is possible in a small space, but until I can use a bigger spot, I'm stuck with about 5 feet in height. Also was a bit cheaper, but with how many socket splitters & stuff I need it starts adding up anyways. This is my 2nd grow & figured I would save more money by using a T12 fixture we already had. The bulbs were higher lumens & wattage than the CFL's, but grew them so much smaller :(. I have to get new lights next grow anyways, any suggestions? 5 ft. height, about 8-10 ft. long & about 3-4 ft. wide. I still can't spend hundreds on the lights yet (health issues, can't work :(). About the nutrients, that's what I did, using the general hydroponics 3 pack until I get more experienced. Cheers :)

In my basement crawlspace. I have a hygrometer, a dehumidifier & currently a humidifier for the odd time it need's since it's winter (typically when the soil is drier). A heater I have as well, along with a fan. No temp drops during dark time to much & I keep it near 76-78 fahrenheit. I heard in flower its best to keep it cooler & apparently a bit colder near harvest.

I find lighters make me cough more than the weed. If you use hemp wick or smoke a joint is so much smoother and the taste is 100x better.

5ft height should be plenty for most Indica strains.. I wouldn't go sativa though.

Since you're trying to be frugal, i was going to recommend an HPS, but your low height doesn't help. And those things are ovens pretty much.

Almost anything is an upgrade from CFL's even the old red+blue leds that we lovingly call blurple over here.

https://smile.amazon.com/YGROW-Spectrum-Reflector-Lights-Heatproof/dp/B078XHHVKZ/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=led+grow+light+white&qid=1550111257&s=gateway&sr=8-5

Something like this should be quite an upgrade for you, it says it's a 600W light, but in really it's only a 150W light, and it's very low cost.
And later on... you can just add another one as you expand. Rule of thumb for that kind of light is 1 per 2x2 ft space.

Buy cigar lighter gas, normal lighter gas has adulterants for safety reasons, cigar gas should be just pure butane. Thats if you are at the club and wanna look real cool :-)
