How to encourage seeds

Ok so I recently started my first auto-fem grow. I picked 2 sweet seeds strains, and I am about to harvest them. I have been impressed with the color that they have displayed and would like to give them another go without buying a bunch more $10 seeds.

I have previously worked in a commercial medical cannabis grow. On one occasion we let a group run really long (weeks past regular harvest) they eventually seeded themselves (no males available).

So if I were to let one of the auto-fems run long, are they likely to seed? Would it be pretty similar to the original?

Please chime in if you have some input

I know the guy here in Alaska who made this for Baked. He's my neighbor . All he does is breed autos. A greenhouse full of them.

Too late this time. Want punch? Check Dutch Passion. Weight? Dutch Passion. Check "Think Different". They are one of the leading breeders of autos.

I don't know for certain but here's an idea, take your favorite Auto, cross it with your favorite regular seed, take those seed from the auto, and find a male or a natural hermie female ( as in past due, like the ones you pollinated already) in those seeds and cross it back to that same strain again, eventually if you repeat this cycle you may develop a way to make entire batches of your own auto seeds of your favorite strain combo, you would have to break into the genetic chain of the Auto flower to do this, and the best way is through breeding in cycles until the strain releases itself.

Now this would become a hybrid , and would take some time and trial and error but it's very possible to create Auto seeds this way.

One tip could be to find a regular strain that carries the same characteristics as your Auto flower and maybe shares some genetics already and work those two into a cross together, then just figure what your Auto ratio turn out is among the seeds you've made, eventually they could become your own hybrid of full Autos, through selective breeding and so forth, it would be worth it if someone puts forth enough effort into the breeding phases.
