How to determine if plant will take 8 weeks of flowering or 10 weeks?

i know i should just let them be free and do what they want but the reason for my wondering on how long they will take is because im starting week 6 now and if they are 8 weeks i need to begin flushing them after this week. but if they are 10 weeks i have another 2 weeks till then. right now i have tons of white hairs and starting to form bud but it doesnt look anywhere near ready id say its doing really well for 6 weeks flowering. would it hurt to just wait and do the 10 weeks? i have some red pistals forming if thats how its spelt id say 30-40% red. expect week 6 and 7 for the bud to actually start showing. iguess my question is should i do 8 weeks and flush weeks 7&8 or do 10 weeks and flush 9&10 or do 10 weeks and flush weeks 7,8,9,&10.. thanks.

p.s. i will try and add pics soon! got a 420 scope too so yay lol

you don't have to flush at all according to some.

and in your case, you can just run a shitload of water through it a few days before it is ready and you'll be fine.

once you know how long it takes to mature, you can implement whatever flushing regimen you want in the future.

i would perfer to flush because i tend to taste the bud and its just horrible with all the nutes. and i just got some bag seed from some stuff called corn i guess short for "popcorn" maybe some dro. but its good enough for me gets me feeling good and helps with all my problems haha gives me a couch lock body high

well, you might have to flush later this time, but the flush will still work as long as you give it a few days after.

some dro, eh? sounds nice.

ok so prolly run them in flowering for 10 weeks and then flush weeks 9&10? i just heard that if you wait to long it could go bad..

you'll have a better chance of them going bad by depleting them of the nutrients they need too early.

Isnt that the same as flush?

usually when i flush i run twice the size container of water thru the plant with a flushing agent made by gh for one day then for a week i water with straight water.

what hes referring to is the last few days just running a lot of water thru them. kinda same but different in its own way.

I would just look at the pistils if u dont have a microscope and determine if there turning colors receeding in or foxtailing.. but even then thats a seasoned eye thats needed.
