don't know what kinda fab skills U have but how bout running a water pump off an engine pulley belt? I bet you'd get faster flow rates than any 12V car system can provide.

They both could be done, if you can get your car to your site then do the engine way, unless you have no mechanical skills at all. What did you have in mind. Elaborate a little more if you could

Hi all, back from the patch. I have to find a solution real quick.

I didnt buy any pump yet. A clear stream is about 150 feet from the patch. Cant get the car there. Its deep in the swamp.

thanks for your help guys, Id prefer not to buy a big gas pump. I want something silent, and if possible, i want to be able to put a timer on it.

Oh, and I have a big inflatable kiddie pool under the trees to mix nutes.

yeah if it has ac connection just get an inverter from walmart or whereever for 40 dollars and an extension cord unless your using battery only just cut the connection off that goes into the lighter and connect to battery terminals Walmart.com: Whistler 400-watt Power Inverter with Circuit Pro: Auto
easy shit
I don't think 400 watts will cut it, you'd need more like a 1200 watt inverter. not to mention, have you ever run an inverter with an extension cord? depending on how long it is you won't get the same power at the end of a cord as you will directly at the inverter

your going to smoke a little pump like that if you need to push water 150ft. if it dosent die i dont know how much water your going to get out of it per second. how steep is the slope, that will be the determining factor or a badass pump

water seeks its own level... liquid i should say... just create a siphon... grab your cordless drill at home... go to lowes or home depot and pick up a drill pump... its like 8 bucks... hook one end up in the stream and use the pump to pump the water up... almost into a loop... just enogh where the water will have enough pressure to start going down the loop... your gravy from there... just hook the other end up to you kiddie pool and before u kno it u will be full.... by loop i mean like u know those yellow stickers on the back of cars ... for the troops... looks like that... kinda ???
