how to clean dabs resin from a bong????

so, i was givin a nice custom glass bong 4 foot tall double blown piece for doing someone a favor and he smoked alot of dabs through it and there is a layer of shatter in the bong it is strange.....but i would like to clean it and have a clear bong like when it was unused.

I clean my rigs with a torch...slowly heat the glass up where the resin is and pour it out the closest hole. Use the torch like a blow dryer on your hair (wave it back n forth)

90% Iso works too.

You've never cleaned a bong?

Strongest iso alcohol you can find. PLug the bung. Fill it up. let it sit overnight

Rinse with hot water. Fill again with ISO and coarse salt, shake the shit, rinse again, hot water. 4 footer doesn't exactly fit in a sink, boil a kettle or microwave some water if need be.

Hope the favor was worth it, who needs a 4 footer less your 19 and think it's cool?

91% iso with rock salt. Fill the bong 1/3 way. Shake for 15 mins. Clear as new. I used to heat my pieces untill i started cracking them because my shatter held to much moisture mixed with the water.

I've cleaned globbed rigs in 24-36 hours. Maybe not perfect but good as I needed

If you feel you can handle it... Oven cleaner. This is very dangerous.

Its so hard to find a rig without a perc of some sorts in it... that makes for hell to clean, I could do without easy. The torchy way will bring it back to brand new if you do it every so often.

Wow, i dab about a gram a day and i can clean my pieces quickly (15min) 100% with iso/rock at the end of every month. I have never heard of anyone having problems cleaning with 91%iso+rock salt. You cant use neither 70% iso and/or fine salt. I clean them every month so thats probably it always goes back to brand new.

Yea the only reason im having issues is because this has never been cleaned.... so far iv just been doing the torch thing and enjoying it ill try iso in a bit here, was not sure that wouldw work for dabs? it sticking like a layer of rock lol, i didnt think it would work the same, i know the rock salt thing i just dont wanna waste it, dabs are stupid pricey here

Then use just ISO alcohol alone keep shaking like a bastard and put it on a pyrex dish cook off the alcohol just stay away from sparks. I was shocked I cleaned my bubbler out and took a dab shit was about as strong as the original wax don't taste as good though.

take your 91% and put the whole bottle in the microwave,lid off for 1 minute, then as stated above, shake like a a bastard, you'll be surprised how much better it works hot.

I prefer grain alcohol(Everclear) over ISO..ISO leaves a residue..

i end0ed up getting it with piano wire lol i am fooked its been forever since iv had dabs i put it all in one bowl and iv hit it like 40 times now hahaha ) im havin fun lol

That's how Cannabineer rolled. I used the Iso method. He'd natter at me until I give it a shot of oven cleaner at the end to give it that brand new twinkle LOL. Drove me nutty

I put ethanol or acetone in rig on heat pad.
