How to clean a pipe?

hey guys i wanted to clean my glass pipe, i scraped it and now i want to clean it. do you guys know any home ingredients to clean it? thanks....

Do the same with the pipe

stick it in some rubbing alcohol and salt and shake it around a little like in a cup let it sit for awhile and it should be nice and clean as new

Yeah, rubbing alchohol should do it fine. I put it in my glass pipe cover the choke and the tip and shake it all around. Very clean afterward.



here is a question, could that alcohol be strained and the resin from the pipe saved? eh?

if you left it out in the sun to evaporate all the alcohol...i dont see why not...not exactly positive though

How do I clean my glass pipe?

Many people like to keep their glass pieces relatively clean, or enjoy reaping the benefits of scraping their bowels for resin to smoke. I can scrape my bowel pretty clean, but there is only so much you can get out. The end result is usually a pipe that wont look right until you get more resin in it to give it back its color. And every time you do this it gets harder to scrape clean because of the old stuff hardening.

If you follow this technique you can get your pipe as clean as it was the day you bought it every time, plus it will always be easier to scrape your pipe the next time.




Scrape your pipe as cleanly as you want, or not at all, some people don't enjoy smoking their resin so they can skip this step.

Fill your pipe with a teaspoon or two of salt, depending on pipe size. You can use regular table salt, sea salt (preferred) or rock salt.






Plug the head of your bowel with your finger or thumb, and pour rubbing alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, into the mouthpiece of your pipe.

Cover the mouthpiece with another finger or thumb and shake the pipe up and down vigorously but carefully, for a few minutes.







Dump out the waste and rinse thoroughly with tap water.

Repeat if needed until pipe is sparkling clean.

i cleaned my pipe and looks brand new again. i used the alcohol, salt, and hot water.

You have a color changing pipe? Mine get dirty, but that looks like a different level of dirty to me. Dirty pipes have always looked brown, not blue.

Might have to do it twice if your bowl is super rez'd up.

yeah my glass pipe is super sick. it starts off really light blue and as you smoke it, it becomes a darker blue with designs on it... if i had a picture of the whole pipe when it was resined up, i would have posted it but that bud picture is the only picture i have with it.

it doesnt really change colors, it just brings out the color.

Sweet.

all i do is boil my glass pieces to clean them. works every time. might make the house smell but u can boil water and do it outside.
