Do a video so we can pick apart all the shit you are doing wrong like different lights on,dif types of tools laying nearby, wearing different shirts:lol:
We should chip in and get coberto a white lab coat, maybe the amare crew has one lmao. @Hybridway been mia lately, hope he's ok.
@Joe34 just normal grow room fans nothing too fancy.i run mostly 140mm x 80mm and sstx heatsinks.got a few 140 x 70mm and 120mm for lower currents of 50w or less.35w cree on a 140mm pin sink is hard to beat ;)
Thanks man!

yup, all on same heatsinks at similar temp profiles, measured on axis with a li-cor at 12" in free space

not steady state but i can usually bang thru 0.1, 0.2...0.9,1.0,1.2, 1.4...3.6A measurements in about 2 min before the heatsink gets too hot. not perfect but repeatable from cob to cob

future tests are in sphere (which is pretty similar results to free air based on my first tests ive done)

@CobKits what about perfect spectrum for our plants? I saw thread, one said 3000K Citizen is best (enough blue/green). What about Vero, I've heard their 4000K spectrum is like Cree 3500K. Any truth about that?

47% at 50 watts, not 37

Citizen 1818 data.jpg

this is why i said these citi are better in the high wattage applications, not down around 50w

from above post^^^^..... Cob efficiency: 37.09%
Power watts per sq.ft.: 49.62
Voltage forward per cob: 49.62
Lumens per watt: 124.24
am i missing something? those are terrible at 50w
would be better off with 3 x 315w cmh about the same price and you could just upgrade every year as tech gets better right ?

if there is a perfect spectrum we havent found it yet. im seeing excellent results on the site from 2700k 90 cri (@Rahz ) up to 5000k 70 cri (@The Dawg )

All around spectrum I meant.
I guess best is colder spectrum for veg (5000 or 6500) and red spectrum for flower (2700 or 3000). But all in one spectrum? 3000, 3500?

What about second question about Vero spctrum vs. Citizen...?
