How the heck do you trellis on rolling bench stands?

The product I'm looking at is HERE. Does anyone have any clever ideas on how to trellis with these? I have a few thoughts but hoping there is an easier way someone knows. One would be to use square metal tubing to make slots and pin in lengths that slide in. Seems like the most work but would at least give the option of easily breaking them down if need be. Other idea would be to just drill through metal tubing and bolt them to the stand. Could hang some sort of trellis made of pvc from the ceiling. I don't know anyone have some clever hopefully easy ideas? Thanks!

Have you looked at Botanicare trays?. They have stake pockets that are 1inch sch40 PVC ready. I didn't know how the price compares tho. These slide 17 inches.. we love them! We have 3 trays that are 4x20 ft. The PVC framework cost a total of $147, and only has 3 sizes, so we can take it down or set it back up in about 30 min for all 3. There is no glue, just slip together. We take them down after a harvest so we can clean the trays, and have more working room during the next veg cycle.

@DoubleAtotheRON May I ask what those lights are? Very clean setup, do you hand water?

@MasterSweets Hey I was not trying to be a smartass, I just went on the link and saw the trellis accessory. I am sure a DYI alternative could be achieved with some help from RIU and some creativity.

If you don't mind me asking what did the 4x20 stands and trays cost? I'd like to have em 5x20 or atleast the trellis part but maybe I can get an idea of price from the 4x20.

This is a terrible story, but I had popped off on a FB forum that I was about to order these, and a local Hydro Store owner said that if I ordered them from him, he would install them for free to get some experience. I was like "Hell yeah!"... I didn't want to install them!. So he comes down and it takes him and a crew of 2 helpers 2 full days to drill the mounting holes in the concrete, laser level everything, and get the proper drop (2 inches from one end to the other).... 2 months later he had to close his doors due to too much competition in a newly legal State. Kinda felt bad for the guy. BUT!.. parts came to around $6800, and I heard labor to install would run closer to $9000, so like $3000 a tray.

Gorgeous. Well... Just went down the rabbit hole reading and researching these. Guess I'm spending more than I had planned. Thanks for the info!

For two 4' x 25' 6" I was just quoted by my local grow store total of $4203. So $2100 a tray. Doesn't seem bad and since you're shorter you might get around the same price.

I also quoted from NEXTG3N and for a 4' x 27' it was $1,375. Much cheaper but don't look quite as nice. They can also be a lot more customizable and also have trellis holes built in. 4, 5 or 6 foot widths. Check them out HERE. They got a quote back to me within 12 hours.
