how tall should i grow for a good yield ?

just wondering what the difference would be if i grew my plants bigger in veg from 12" to 24" and then flowered them.
do u think there would be much difference ???

Don't you think if someone could answer your question without any information about your grow that you would already know the answer?

its a simple question for someone who grows and has been thru the learning process before
there is info in there and its simple

would doubling the size double the bud ?

like with a car engine twice as big dont mean twice as fast so is it the same for a white widow ?

Hey guys im new to this site very new and going to ask a bit of an annoying question but going to be very specific ok I just spent about 150 on some Feminized Bluberry seeds and went out and bought some organic soil with a ph content of 7.0 and im using flurecent bulbs that are about 100 watts per bulb 2 plants and everything in the grow room is reflective and im doing 8 hours of light a day how much of a yield can I expect since I am using feminized seeds and really good soil thanks guys!

8 hours light isnt enough
12h on 12h off for flowering
24h for vegging

when is vegging time? and how much should I get if I change the time

its hard to say really
you need to as a basic rule veg them under 24hours light so on all the time till they get to about 12" tall then move them into the flower room and put your lights on 12 hours light maximum so they can be forced to flower and you would be lucky to get 1oz of bud wet at the end under cfl`s my last grow veg under 3 5foot 58w floras till they wer 12" tall them movced into flower room under 4 70w 6 foot flora lights on for 12 hours a day and i got half oz off each plant

yeah thanks but damn I got really sick seeds and im only going to get 1/2-10z a plant even with feminized wth lol

reason being the lights u are using dont give off enough lumens for the plants i was using floras and my total for the room was something like 14000 in total i have just changed my lights to High Pressure Sodium lights 400w and i am now throwing out about 55000 lumens which is perfect for the weed so i should get anywhere from 1oz upto 3oz dry weed so lets say 4oz - 6 oz wet weed

i doubt you will get much it all comes down to the lighting all my plants are female all 32 of them i`m using clones
open a new thread and ask and you will get the same result from other users
just do it see what they say

just cause there feminized doesnt mean more bud .just guarantees smokable bud

As it relates to this post. No, double the size does not mean double the yield. You need to get light to all the nodes/bud sites to get a larger yield.

ive upgraded to a 400hps and its only been on for the last 2 days so i will wait and see the outcome of these plants

You won't get 4oz using flouro's or CFL's.
I usually get 3 to 4oz's a plant, but I use 2x 400 and 1x 600 HPS and currently flowering 7 plants under them, and it's crowded in there (my grow tent)
I used a mixture of 200W CFL's and MH x2 x 400. for vegging
My CFL's are huge though, and they draw 200W each.

you shouldnt be worried about yield your first grow....go read a book do some research if you dont believe the GREAT info BOBMAF has given you
