How secure is Rollitup?

Personally i'm not too paranoid... but I always wonder how easy it is for feds to get on sites like these and track ip's to home adresses... just as easy as that.
Bother anyone else not growing with a permit?

well im sure it cant be to hard for the one who have the knowlege and time but i would think that even if the dea was looking on here almost everyone on here is small time and not worth bothering over and on top of that they really cant use riu at evidence cus we could be making up everything

True... until you get caught, but then again I guess they can't search without a warrant and shit.

haha.. you're not alone.

nah no cops would come on a site like this and search peoples personal computers without warrants.

Its bout as safe as most other sites..just dont be stupid and post sensitivie/personal information.
For those that are paranoid, download some IP address changing/hiding software.

the truth is really, that if somebody had your IP address, and your not using a proxy server, they could go to one simple website and track you down to the city you live in, and the rest is just the process of elimination.

As far as the police go, this website is a public domain. Even though you have to have a membership to post and be a part of it, if there was a fed tech dude in here, he would be able to access the hosts shit in no time. I mean, im sure that Rollie has a secure system, and knows his shit, along with his rights as far as keeping all of our information private, but The internet is nothing but lines and lines of code full of information just waiting for somebody to reach up and grab it. It all depends on the person doin the reaching, wether or not you get tracked down.

My own personal advice to you guys is before you sign into RIU every day, go to a website like www.hidemyass.com , or another website proxy server provider. You go to the site, and they have a place where u just enter in the website you wanna go to, and it takes you there via theyre own server. Now personally, im not gonna say how i do it - i could have a proxy server of my own, or i could be using one of the 1000 sites that are just like hidemyass.com. I like being protected, until i decide to devulge my own information, should i decide to ever do that -- at least protected to the best of my own ability anyways, lol.
