I use it with every batch of nutes at 10 ml/gal. Although I go hydro and use RO water, which has no calcium. If you use the FF soils, I believe they have some calcium already, but in hydro if I dont use it I get a cal def in just a few weeks.

I use cal-mag + for late veg and flowering. I use the fox farm trio

Another thread, someone mentioned using epson salt(disolved in water) instead of cal mag, with a drop of liquid laundry detergant(to make the salt stick)....is this true? Will that work? Also that you would spray the foilage, not apply it to the soil.

Are you feeding every watering ? Or what ?

use cal-mag every other watering. Plenty people use every watering with no ill side effects. Start with every other and just keep a watchful eye over the plants.

I use CalMag with FFOF soil every watering. I have RO water so everything is naturally stripped. But I use a low amount, at most 5ml/gallon.

Epsom salt is good for the mag, im not sure how much it helps with calcium tho.

Im sure google could tell you

alot of people use soap that is non ultra reg dollar store dish soap in with the foliar spray because it serves as a wetting agent preventing water beading and creating hot spots its not all that stupid skins

Bringing this thread from the dead... waay dead

I use tap water - in SF according to the utility the water averages 6.1ppm magnesium and 15ppm calcium

based on my brief research - my plants would still benefit from CalMag right?
