Ok, first, Im sorry for getting anyone excited thinking I have a list of ways on how NOT to get busted. BUT, that's exactly what I would like to get going is a thread that has ideas, expieriences, etc.

Also, are there any computer gurus here on RIU that know if there is any risk involved with posting on this, or any forum like this? I mean it would only make sense that DEA and other agencies would frequent sites like this to try and track down growers right? I dunno, maybe not, Im new to this whole thing so am just asking.

But anyway, lets help each other out here and get a thread going of precautions to take and things to do/not do. If nothing else please someone chime in regarding the "posting on this forum" question. THanks

E-Mail... Hushmail - Free Email with Privacy

Proxy server... Tor: anonymity online

Those three will take you very far!

If you are super paranoid and would like more... By an extra hard drive and place your 'pot surfing' stuff on that hard drive only, and only hook it up when you surfing. Keep it somewhere where it can be disposed of quickly.

There's a million ways to look at every aspect of what this site discusses.

Easiest way to look at any of it is... "how can this go wrong"? Find that answer and fix it.

As for R.U.I. and how safe it is... There are folks here that have been posting for years. I'm sure that law enforcement looks at this site and may even take an active part in it... and why shouldn't they? We are the enemy and one should know their enemy very well. But, because there are people that have been here for years, I would imagine that the site its self is safe... However, use a proxy server, like TOR and you won't have to take the chance.

Limit your contact online, only ask questions that you can't find an answer for in the GrowFAQ section.

Be smart and you'll be safe.

ive been wanting to see these for a while. they look pretty interesting and ive watched the previews on youtube.

now i dont usually flame people. i think its stupid to attack people over the internet but i dont really see what choice i have. what are you doing dude? first you start a new thread asking a stupid ass question (ofcourse you cant turn shit seeds into good weed...its simple genetics. sure if you take more care of it than the grower before you it may be a little bit better but it cant get any better than the genetics will let it). now you say youre new so i would normally cut you some slack on it. Then the very next thread i come in youve double posted your question in someone elses thread trying to steal it from them when it has nothing to do with your question. then when someone makes a joke about you being a cop because you come on here with no posts and start asking dumb questions you attack them. theres no need for that. You should either learn to be more respectful of other people on here or get on another forum.

dude don't mean to call you out but ive been growing bagseed for 8 years and ive had some super dank herb the only thing is you don't know what it is and every seed is defferant you just gotta find the good ones and keep em as moms, the best weed ive ever smoked was from a seed that was from a bag of shitty brick weed and ive smoked some of the best herb out there

1. Do not tell anyone about your grow.
this right here can fuck you up like crazy. You get all hype and want to tell the whole world. Tell one person they'll tell another and if you get to harvest time you'll be tore off(locked up).

2.Grow by yourself friends can fuck you over.
Personally if you cant trust that friend with ya life and haven't been coll since elem fuck that out of the grow equation.
Money can really break up the relationship straight up.

3. Light leaks
this is another major one...
People not blocking the light all the way and lil cracks of light come out and neighbor might say something.

Best thing is cardboard and ductape on the windows along with a good curtain or blanket in the room you grow if its open.

4. Paranoia
This shit right here is major. You cannot let this shit get to you real talk.
It'll eat at you, if you scared to order seeds expect what is like when you see a cop car in front of your house going next door etc.
Fuck paranoia, If I was 14 growing and haven't had a problem you can also work on just sayin fuck it.
You did the best you can not to look suspicious grow is going smooth.

5.FLIR
Yea yea yea pple say they can see through ya walls.
I dont think so I think they just see heat and if you vent properly it wont show up so much.
FLIR is for major grow ops they aint got time to look into a 4plant grow with a 400watter.
Thats wasted tax dollars they want the big shit

6.Girlfriends
Can be a bitch if they know u grow and some shit happens between you.
She can snitch or she could be bragging to her friends if she's like that.

7.Slinging
If you sling your harvests like many do dont do it where you grow/stay at.
Sell smart so many people get tore off on this because they brag that its some homegrown yadayada. FAST FORWARD: word gets around and you could get in some heat.
If you not slingin to clinics you gotta be careful who you serve.

8.Smell
This is a major problem too.
You gotta control shit like this, whether you can do it with a CF or ozium spray and plugins you gotta control that shit.
yea its nice to walk in ya crib and smell it but do you want friends, neighbors etc to smell it?

9. Dont act suspicious
at all pple coming into ya crib and out in 2mins makes it look like a trap.
Say hello to ya neighbors when you get the mail go to the block parties BBQ's etc.
Make it look like you are normal.

10.Trash
Dont just throw ya dead leaves and empty bottles in ya can...
I cant stress that enough,
My method is I tear up all boxes real good, crush and flush foliage or just in a black bag then inside reg trash...
But I still take my bad trash out on trash day almost like 10mins before the trashman comes.
I'm not letting none get a peek at my trash at all even if they wanted too.​

Some people don't have it bruh:sad:, why do you think some of the ?'s that are posted are asked? Because they don't have common sense.

People need to balance their book smarts and street smarts, you can't live without both.
