You need to research and read. People don't like to spoon feed answers to questions as basic as this. If you want it to flower , give it 12 hours of light 12 hours of dark. Keep it on a very strict schedule. I recommend a wall socket timer.

Just to add, if your girl is already starting to flower it's not wise to revert back to more daylight hours to get her to veg. Might as well let her flower. But like thunderrod said, a picture would be helpful.

it is not like spoon feeding the thing is that i'm reeding too much stuff and some guys tell me stuff i need to come and come clear. iwas asking because i've read that the 12/12 cycle is the best cycle to flower (i have some alredy giving the 12/12 treatment) the issue was if i should invest more in light or not since i still have around 17hours (emulate mother nature).
will put her with the flowering ones. thank you guys

it doesn't look like its far into flowering (if at all if you say it's been getting 17 hours of light). So if you do want it to get bigger before you flower you would want to give it 18 hours of daylight. The type of light and amount of light is based on preference and your $ budget. A metal halide will provide you with the best output. But you can use cfl bulbs and hang them around the plant to prevent stretching. But either way, the decision to flower or veg is up to you. If your question wasnt answered just ask again only more to the point, it's hard to really see what your asking.
