How much time left

My trichomes are almost all clear very very little cloudy my buds are preatty small so I wanted to give it nutes the longest I can until I have time to flush. Well my question is after I notice the very first trichomes turn amber how long would I have before it's ready

Alot of it comes down to personal preference on this. I begin to flush when 20%-30% of the trics turn amber, and flush 10 days. This typically leaves with with 50% cloudy/ 50% amber trics at harvest time.

Thanks I guess I thought they would change much more faster than that. Or at least to fast for me to be able to flush in time. So like I said all my trichomes are still clear how long do you think before I flush it. Also u said u flush for ten days does that mean you do it more than once? Thanks it's my first grow and I made it this far and I'm getting impatient and I don't want to ruint it by cutting it to soon

IMHO, I would wait til at least 60%+ of the bud hairs change color... then chop her down. The way Ive done it for 10 years.

And as far as the flushing is concerned.. The last 2-3 weeks is when the bud growth is at its best.
Are you sure you wanna flush out the food at this most crucial time of flowering?

I know this is a debateable subject. But, I do things like this.

Personally,..

I keep all the nutrients in the soil for the biggest yields possible.. And that means til the very end.

Then I dry the buds all the way til the stems snap. After I hear the snapping, I proceed to a good Ol' fashion cure in Mason Jars for a few weeks opening the jars each and every day for a few minutes.

The cure process will remove any bad taste from chemicals, and the chlorophyll.

After the buds are fully cured I place the jars in my refrigerator. Keeps the bud from going stale.

Everybody does it different, Its just the way I do it.

Either way, Wish you the best. Take care Man. CG :)

you should post pics...but you probably still have 2-4 weeks, depending on what it's looking like. and yes if you start flushing 10 days before you harvest it. flush the soil. then what i did (and i'm not sure if this was the way others would do it) was when the soil got completely dry about 4 days for me, i flushed again. then pretty much waited for the soil to dry out and picked. if you start flushing too early you're not going to do too much damage. but i wouldn't say to start yet. maybe feed one more time and flush next watering.
