How much should we bring to the Cannabis Cup?

Hey. I couldn't find any other forum to put this in, so I'll ask in here. We are going to the High TImes Cannabis Cup this year for the first (and probably only) time. They say that you get free weed with a judges pass, so I was wondering how much weed do you actually get for "free" and how much would you say you had to pay for? Was the weed you had to pay for discounted at all? I'm only talking strictly about the strains that are entered into the cup. Just wondering how much do you think we should be looking to spend on just weed? We want to be able to smoke every strain entered into the cup since we got a pass (26 strains I think it was last year).

I'd say since you opened your mouth we at roll it up charge you with a daily journal update of your trip to the cup. We want details...places, strains, hottie reports, food, Anything that makes it fun for you we want to know about it. I am very interested in your call on the great strains of the cup current and past since you can most likely try them all....etc. Good luck...

Wow. Is that per person? It is just me & my gf. That's ridiculous if its per person. The Judges pass alone was $150 not including the actual trip. How much did you get for free/discounted? Thanks.

yea i read that and decided for vacation id rather hit up Canada or California since the cup went downhill. i dont feel like flying forever just to smoke some decent weed with a bunch of holland hick trash.

I wanted to go to Amps too untill I read Subcools art....It was the funny flexing shops owners and the expensive evrything that got me......And that SOMA thing disgusted me for real....His seeds R expensive too.......BUT if not Ampster where else can I visit and enjoy a variety of high quality MJ..know the strain being smoked..and not worry about the BWOY dem ?.....

Yeah Hobbes, I've read that in the past. I know, I know all about the kind of shaddy shit that goes down in Amsterdam. I am actually not really even a fan of "amsterdam" genetics, per se. I'm not some newb toker kid that thinks High Times is the "be all, end all" of cannabis. In fact, I even know that that is completely far from the truth! I realize all the critisim towards High Times & The Cannabis Cup, and I agree whole heartly about it all as well. Hell, I have some JillyBean going as I type. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut.... We've never been to Amsterdam in all my years of being alive, so I figured "hey, what better time to go then during the 'legendary' Cannabis Cup" just to see what its all about and so I can decide for myself if it was worth it.

Now that thats outta the way, anyone have any answers for my original question?
