How much nutes do you guys give to your autoflowering strains?

Im gonna try an auto strain because I only have about 3 months before I move and Im not too sure what the best way to feed them is. I have GH 3 part but I'm probably going to use the lucas formula. (5ml micro/10ml bloom for veg, 8ml micro/16ml bloom for flowering) I just have a few questions that are REALLY causing me concern.

1. when do you stop giving them ph'd water and introduce the 1/4 strength veg nutrient solution?
2. When do you stop the veg solution and start giving them the . flowering solution? at first sign of buds?
3. What do you guys use as a foliar spray? Just water? Or water/superthrive (or something similar)?
4. Is it okay to mix 1/4tsp/gallon superthrive WITH the nutrient solution?

Anyone who can clear up these questions for me will be my new best friend and subject to TWO goody bags at my next birthday party ;):hump: hehe, jk. ;) thanks a lot though guys. I REALLY cant fuck this one up or Ill be in for a LOOONNGGG 6 months of no smoke. :)

I givem 1/4 the first 1 week, then full 2 1/2 weeks then around 3-3 1/2 weeks they will start to show then I transition into flower.then at 5 weeks or so I go into full bloom for about 6 weeks.I am a firm believer that letting you autos go full or even a week or 2 extras. This will ensure good potency.Sometimes autos get a bad rapp about potency but I think many people harvest too soon.think about it being 4 veg 7 flower with flush

Okay so let me get this straight.. "1/4 strength the first week" does that mean you give them nutes immediately while they are still germinating? Or do you consider the start of week one to be when they get their first two sets of true leaves? This information will make/break the grow. How long do you give them pure ph'd water? What is the difference between flowering solution and a "full bloom" solution? You totally lost me there man, Ive only ever heard reference to the first two: veg and flowering, not "full bloom solution" If you indeed consider week 1 to start from the second you plant the seed, and you give your seeds 1/4 strength nutes, then do you presoak your RW cubes in 1/4 nutes? Or do you just soak them in ph'd water like normal?

when you get ready to flower dont just give it full strengh nutes ease into it.Be careful, for instance with the nutes you are using look at the bottle.I dont use the 3 part gh anymore but it says right on the bottle veg(week1-3),transition to bloom(week4),bloom/ripening(week5-11)This is based on autos when i grow. This is just a general guide you will have to figure it out.Remember that autos are not a "normal"grow you gotta tweak it.autos from seed are about 11 weeks.Just put the seeds in the cubes. When they sprout give them the 1/4 strentgh.Thats kind of what I do.There are some great threads about autos on here.

PERFECT! thank you. That one pretty much cleared everything up :) Ive been reading a little TOO much on it I think. You get so many conflicting answers and then your right back where you started not knowing who to listen to. But I like the sounds of what you suggested as its very close to what I was going to do if I didn't get any responses. How come you dont use the 3 part anymore? Is there something else you would suggest that you like better? Im always open to reccomendations

I'm currently in week 6 of my auto's. I started them on veg nutes after the 3rd week, full strength. once the plants seems to have stoped growing, and were a week or so in budding, i started bloom nutes.

Plants do not like varying EC (nutrient concentrations). What this means is you can easily grow through the entire grow with the1/4 strength you start out with. It just means possibly adding nutes daily instead of every few days, or if you do not add nutrients but change your reservoir instead then just change it more often. Plants never need high concentrations of nutrients and do not benefit from a high EC, just adequate amounts on a continuous basis is needed. Actually they best nutrient delivery system for systems such as aero or an inert media hydro grow like Ebb and Flow or NTF is drain to waste using a low ppm nutrient solution. Plants like stable growing conditions as far as EC and pH. Drain to waste guarantees ample nutrients that are always balanced and a constant ppm and pH.
