How much mL or oz of soap should I mix w/ water?

I heard that spraying your plant w/ liquid soat + water mixture will keep pests away and I have bites in my plants. How much should I mix w/ water? I'm down to do a 187 on every single one.

Usually soap isn't used just by itself, its normally a wetting agent for neem oil. Wetting agent means it makes it soluble into a water solution. I usually use 2 tsp per gallon of liquid dish soap (non antibacterial is important).

I mix neem oil with fairy washing up liquid.

I do 8ml fairy 8ml neem and 1 litre water. I was recommended to do it that way by a thread on here

I heard olive oil also works is that true?
