How Much Longer?

I have my random bag seed, sativa dom plant growing in fox farms coco loco in a 3 gallon pot. I topped, and trained it to 6 tops. She was vegged for 30 days and has been in flowering for 28 days. From your experience, how long do you think I have left until I harvest? I know indoor grows usually take 3-4 months, am I on track or behind schedule?

Depends. Its got some thin leaves. Looks like quite a bit of sativa. We can say seven or eight weeks but sativas can go 16 weeks.

Im not saying it will, we jus have no idea since its an unknown bag seed.

Good looking plant. I just don't want to put the wrong amount of time in your head.

It will be done when its done.

Edit: i looked back at the pics. 7-8, weeks is a fair guess.

Yeah, I don't mind how long it's actually going to take. I am just trying to get a round-about idea of how much longer before I can crop some fat ass buds lol. Thanks for the input bud

I edited my last post. Has the stretch slowed down yet?

7-8 weeks is a fair guess if the stretch has slowed down.

Just a few current pics taken earlier today. I'm thinking about adding more cfls. I'm hoping my current lights will be enough to create pretty dense, quality buds. It's a 2x2' grow closet kept around 38-40 humidity and 78-80 degrees.
Last pic shows my rookie "mainline" attempt. Didn't realize it was all supposed to be spurred off one node, but I will try it next time around! I got a pretty cool looking manifold look anyways. Thank you guys for helping me out

As a general rule of thumb, if using artificial light;

1- Veg 30-70 days (personal preference / space)

2- when you switch to flower (12/12)
Start counting your time "in flower" at the first signs of flowers forming. This is usually around 2 weeks after switch.

3- start counting up to 8-12 weeks from that time. Longer if it's a Sativa and chop it when you get close to that time or after.
Otherwise you can get yourself a jewellers loop and go into a little more detail with your plants and go by trichomes. Plenty of info on RIU about that.

Ps cool name!

Thank you for this info! Yeah, I've counted my first day of flowering as the first day I flipped the lights so yeah, it's going to take longer than expected, but that's okay. I had a very shitty first grow yield. I'm talking MAYBE a quarter ounce dried. And that is from two plants! I did a terrible training job with them, let the temps get crazy hot in the grow room, 12/12 from seed, and I cropped at 2.5 months! so believe me when I say I'm willing to let this baby go the distance and produce some real weight. I'll order a loupe on Amazon soon. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it

Just have to say as well- great looking manifold going there. You have obviously enjoyed the mainlining thread!

I think your yields could be down to your lights vs canopy height.
Those CFLs won't penetrate very far at all.
You can ether try getting those mains horizontal next time and work your side branching as yor canopy as well, or upgrade your lights. Make the jump the LED - start middle of the road and get yourself a Mars or Platinum brand LED , as well as your CFL

Hell yeah! Lol the mainlining/nug bucket threads are my favorite. I learned 99% of the info that I do know about growing from this site. Individuals like you have helped a lot. For the lighting issue, do you think I could just drop more lamp cords down on the sides of the plant to boost the penetration more and get a more desirable yield? Or is it too late?

I can get a used 1000 watt hps with hood and ballast for $179 but I don't have a suitable place for such hour of a light. Would a mars hydro 300w led penetrate enough for the lower growth tip?

I don't use any LED under 900w.(some 1600w) (Apart from a 400 I use for mother)
If you have the choice of a 1000w HPS and can afford the electric- go for it!
Otherwise set your sights at an LED alternative to a 600w HPS and your CFLs as side lighting :)
At a 400 I think you may still struggle a little.

Lol definitely not buying a $1000 led, but I wish! What I don't get is I've read articles about people pulling over an ounce with cfl setups under 150 watts total. I want to be one of those people! My grow space is 2'x2' and I have 236 watts of cfl. Is 28 grams with my setup out of the question? Thanks Bro!
