I usually wait til the pistils are 50% amber color. Thats usually when the trichomes are all cloudy and non amber. This is perfect for me at least, everyones different. They need a bit more ways to go still bud

Here is a picture of the whole plant.
Tomorrow will be exactly 9 weeks since the day it was flipped over to 12/12.

You can't always tell by the pistols, some strains are different. Microscope is your best bet. Although, I don't use a microscope anymore, the buds will have a tinge (not sure if that's the correct word I'm looking for) to them under the hps when they're ready.

true, but most of the time you can tell when the buds have fattened up and about 50-60% of the hair turn amber. You can use your phone and focus it pretty good, i just tried that out lol

Yeah. I just got this one on my phone. It seems like the best way is to take a decently close pic with flash on, then go to your gallery and look at the picture, zoom in on the pic and then take a screen shot (if you want a picture of it).
Nice, i just opened in new tab and am looking at the trichs

Thanks everyone for the input, I will give her a little more time and keep a close eye on the triches.... She smells awesome, a VERY heavy smell of lemons and citrus.
I can't wait to taste this after it is cured out.
