Let it go into November or even December if you can. I even harvest Florida sativas in January/February.

Watch out for Bugs and Rot.

yeah, mines a sativa, so you think itd be good for a couple more months?, even a few months? the temp wont hurt it? i mean, it gets cold over night during the later months, but the day time warms up fast. i just dont want to cut it down when i dont need to. first time grower..very first plant.

Years ago when I lived in Central Fla (Leesburg area) my sativas usually didn't finish until between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is all going to depend on the strain, mine was breed by myself in N Fla where it finished mid Nov, and the weather will also effect the time she will take to finish. Watch out for budworms now up there it is prime season, so you want to take whatever preventative measures you can now. If they are outside now and not under trees or some type of shelter to help keep the dew off of them it is also good mold season for a few more weeks.
Happy growing up there and thanks for making me remember the old Gainesville Green days of the 70's and early 80's.

Are you talking about when there was a hedge of weed outside the Gainesville police station and the yard crew would trim it along with all the other stuff?

LOL that goes back many many years central florida was wide open back in the days before the mouse got a good foothold in the state and screwed up things for us natives.

My planting for my outdoor grows always started at the spring solstice or the cresent moon closest to it. Nature always seem to know what she was doing and of course there where a few years especially 84 and 85 with the early killing freezes. If it would threat to freeze I would chop but they would be well within the range I like my sativas 80-100 % cloudy milky.
You'll be fine just watch for the hard freeze and you will be fine.
