how many watts should i get for growing autoflower using cfl

I need to know how many watts should be needed to grow auto flower using cfl lights

more the merrier chief, initially you could get away with 60/90w , but as you go along and ure girls grows you'd really wanna be getting as much light around your bud sites as poss….

If you plan on using the smaller cfls bulbs just add as you go along, if you using a 150w and upwards size(ya know the long one) you are only going to have one focal point of light so bigger watts in this case would provide more penetration…

also make sure you mix your spectrum a bit if you can… 3:1 2700K/6400K for flowering…..

my plant was grown under 180-196w of light. i used 2700, 5000, and 6500 yielded 34g 10"

Between 250-300 actual watts is best like per said add as you go and mix spectrums as well 3:1 veg 6500k:2700k then 1:3 flower personally using 3 26w 6400k 3 35w 6500k 2 55w 2700k for vegging then gonna switch to 4 55w 2700k 2 26w 2700k 2 35w 6500k in a 4x3' area course this is what ive been able to get and my plants are liking it

This was my 398w(6x 48w & 2 x 55w 2700k) CFL grow. 1 plant a lil over an oz 6 week veg. I grew her with less light so she grew slow in veg. I use mixed spec now 6500, 5000 & 2700k. CFL works good just have to keep the bulbs like 1 in away and that can be a hassle when there growing many a leaves have I burned needlessly. Good luck bro hope this helps.
