Hello! I'm using right now 9, 5 Gallon smart pots and i'm currently at Week 4 of flowering. I'm flowering Kalashnikova and White Rhino which have vegged for 8 weeks .

The Problem: I want to start getting ready for another batch but I am unsure how to go about this. do you think I should do it in 3 gallon pots and put 16 or 25 3 gallon pots instead of 5 gallon pots. I want to harvest more frequently basically.By theway this tent is a 5X5X7 tent from Lighthouse hydroponics

2 litre hempy setup FTW! One plant per sq ft, 12/12 from clone/seedling.

That's my next run :)

I like what you got 9x5 gal.
Is this your first run with this setup? I would certainly finish this up THEN decide.
If you want to harvest more frequently = less veg = need less soil. You could go with 3 gal pots, not sure I would go with 16 or 25!

You got a separate veg area?

I'm a 4 big plants per light guy.

15 2 gallon pots, 6 3 gallon pots, 4 5 gallon pots... they all have yielded the same for me. I find 4 5 gallon pots to be the easiest. Easiest/least work means more time to dedicate to each plant... better smoke.

@mrwood: This is my first run in this tent. I have a small veg box to start seeds or clones. I'm thinking of doing 4 rows of 4 so 16 plants in 3 gallon pots. because 5 gallon pots require longer veg times

Size of the pot really doesn't have all that much to do with veg time. What you need to think of is how can I veg enough plants to keep the harvest going. If you have 16-3 gal pots, you essentially will be growing 32 at some point, including the one's vegging. Your veg area has to be able to handle that for a 4 week veg period. So, what I mean to say is that you might want to limit the amount of pots in the room to how many plants I can supply for the second crop. Maybe 10-12 plant in 5 gal might be easier to handle instead of packing it. You will be able to grow larger plants, and come close to making up for weight there. Peace
