how many plants fit under 300 watts hps?

i have two 150 watt hps lamps, im thinking of putting three plants under these light but dont want to have my plants fighting for light. what is a good number of plants to put under my lights to get the biggest yield from each plant?? p.s. my grow room is 3 feet long by 2 1/2 feet wide and 8 feet tall.

Suppossedly 100watts a plant. Id go with 4 personally. Especially if there on the small side

Yeah you could fit 4 under 2 150 watt hps.. If it comes down to it you can always add a couple CFL's for side lighting too
