If it's only four foot high you won't have any room for the plant to grow. If you count a foot for the soil pot height, a foot for the light height and a foot between the light and plant, that will leave you with a foot to grow. Sorry if that is not what you want to hear dude!

You need to let us know the conditions of the room, are you growing in soil? What kind of lights? What kind of seeds? Do you have proper ventilation? Do you plan to use nutes or grow organic? Etc. Etc. Etc....

Provided that you have enough height for them, the generally accepted rule is one plant per sq. ft.

Hey there Mr Tomb you got room to plant sea of green at 1 plant per Sq' that means you can grow 8 plants in there.Do a search on sea of green.Flower early cause remember a plant will grow 2 to 3 times it's height as when you put it into flower.

yes i am growing in soil, i am using mh+hps lights, there just some bag seeds, i have a fan blowing on them for ventilation, and thats what you are helping me with...ect. etc.etc... haha

Is the box open or enclosed? You will need to ventilate it somehow. You need fresh air coming in and a fan pushing old hot air out. Just having a fan in a closed box does not count as ventilation. What is the wattage of lights? You do realize when they are off, you still need heat in that room, at least 65- 70 degrees. Come on dude, you need to be more descriptive if you want people to help you! Your not really providing us much information to work with...

How about doing some searches and doing your research... All the questions you ask are answered over....and over....and over....and over....and over...

see reading the same thing over and over again gets old

you are more than likley not going to get better info from a member on your thread than you would get by doing a search and finding one of the 1000's of sticky's on this subject.

BTW... I am not trying to be an ass

Do like I did I have an inline duct booster fan sitting on the side wall of my box,1/2 the fans on the wall and 1/2 the fans off the wall that way you have air ventilating out the box, passive air intake and at the same time you have air ventilating the flower part of your closet also. This is vented directly to my attic. The temps in my closet never gets above 82 degrees and I'm running a 400 Watt HPS for flowering.I veg in the cabinet with 80 some watts of CFL.I'm growing Hydro DWC,love it.Check out my setup.Hope this helps.
