How many plants can I flower under a 400w HPS?

How many plants would I be able to flower under a 400w HPS and get good results?

for my first grow i used a 400watt light with two plants in a closet grow, with dry weight being around 200 grams. for my current grow i added another 150 watt light along with the 400 watter, again with 2 plants. at week 3 of flowering im already seeing substantial increase in bud size just from the 150 watt addition. imho, if your growing for yourself with a little to spare, a 400 watt hid is perfect for the budding grower. (pun intended)

How many? Well a 400 will light a 2x2 ft area well. So i would say 1 per foot or 4 smaller ones shoukd be fine

I'm using a 400w hps along with a 150 hps in a 2x3 tent....now growing 8 nice autos ....whole tent is a bush! Thay seem to be doing well....small yeilds, I know but I sure will have variety!
