Worst thing ever happen to me as a result of drinking was waking up with a chick between 140 and 165 pounds.

damn, you sound exactly the same way as i did.. drinking and a nice buzz definitely equaled me driving across the bridge to find some blow..
been clean from that and all of the other real drugs for ten years now, and stopping drinking was a major factor in that for sure..
10 years. Nice. Ive been clean from coke/meth/heroin for about 4 years now. And the best part is, I honestly don't have a desire to do that shit ever again. Not like the first year or so that I quit and would still think about it all the time.

Fuck all that shit. Herb and a drink or 2 (or several lol) is more than enough to keep me happy.

It being cinco de mayo yesterday, I stayed at home smoking weed

It got me thinking..... do other stoners drink? Or do they all stay at home and get baked on the drinking holidays like myself?

So

answer YES if you drink frequently

answer NO if you don't drink (or merely take sips on special occasions)
I rarely drink. I still have a case that was leftover from my bachelor party back in February.

I stopped drinking completely when I started smoking. I never saw it do any of my friends any good and it rarely did anything for me. Weed however changed and improved my life, mind, and body. Didn't see much point in booze anymore.

Also, poll is kind of ambiguous. How should someone respond who only drinks on Friday / Saturday like I did in high school? Or how should a three beer queer who has a few drinks daily without experiencing the stupor of being a case deep on a Wednesday night just for the hell of it?

By the way this gets you faded as fuuuuuuuuuhhhh

No weed can help me achieve such a great buzz such as thus of one cup of Ciroc. Add that with weed? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
Is that stuff pretty smooth/sippable? I get sick of drinking a case of beer just to get drunk. But there aren't a whole lot of liquors I can drink straight without having to gag them down.

A guy in a liquor store one time told me about that jay-z vodka and said you could practically drink it straight. But I was like fuck that, I'm not buying some dildo rappers vodka. lol

I thought the same thing about the poll. Defenitly needed more options.

drank hard and smoked every now and then for 30 years, got sober about 6 years ago and stayed all the way clean for 2 1/2 years. now i smoke everyday and maybe a glass or 2 of wine once a month or so. the feeling of being high and being drunk are completly different for me, like comparing oranges to apples.

I can't smoke when I drink though...pretty much puts me to sleep standing up. Smoke during the day, drink at night. Plus they frown on me when I go to work drunk, nobody cares when I'm blazed.

Also... we need to come up with a word to match this "definition."

Your first drink is a shot of Barton's vodka. It's terrible. You gag and wince and shit. Now disregard that scenario... You're like 15 beers deep and see a bottle of Barton's and you're like...fuck it, I'll chug it. It goes down easy because you're drunk. I've been trying to invent a word to describe the increasing ease with which alcohol goes down as your intoxication level increases and can't.

edit- same principle applies to how much easier / quicker you can shotgun a beer.

Maybe: Drumach. Drunk stomach.
Hard to think of a single word that fits the defenition.

I know, I've been trying for years. It's such a common principle that everyone knows about it, yet that nig Webster hasn't hooked a brotha up with a word yet.

I was drunk for a couple decades. Decided that I wanted to live a healthy productive life in my elder years so I quit cold turkey. Been more than 5 years now.
Me too, After years of abuse and several bouts of acute pancreatitus and hospital stays , I finally stopped 5 years ago. Since I've stopped I developed chronic pancreatitus to this day and probably the rest of my life. Alcohol is fine in moderation, anymore you better watch out. I never thought I would end up this way. Anyway, I've been smoking herb for over 30 years and has always helped me whether I was sick or not without harm. Peace, jethead
