how many flowering plants can you put in DWC setup?

Hello,

So I recently got a DWC setup going, and have been more than pleased with the results.

the results have been so amazing that the two plants in my DWC have started crowding each other, which brings me to my question lol..

I have a rectangular reservoir, maybe 4 or 5 inches deep, about 2 feet long and maybe a foot wide. I cut six holes in top and have 3.75" net pots.

I know six young plants could fit, but is it possible to have six flowering plants in there and still have them healthy? Or would it be best to have six plants started then move them to seperate containers? I'm using SCROG so maybe I can control the crowding issues once the tips go through the screen holes, and thin out the undergrowth below.

just tryin to clear up a little confusion, any input is greatly appreciated

p.s. I've been topping, fimming, and supercropping so I'm sure thats contributed to the bushiness lol

I mean I guess I could prune all six to keep em under control, then It'd just seem like one giant canopy (the ultimate goal?) once the growing tips were above the screen and budding.. but still just not sure if six would be overkill..

depends on how big you want to make a new one. Or depending on the light height you could top them to keep them under control

how many gallons is it i would say 3 or 4 tops

its like a seven gallon container, and yea I figured I'd just get clones and sprouts starting veg in the six-hole setup once there rooted. During veg I'll narrow down the selection and then maybe have two or three other rubermaid containers setup for individual DWC's to flower the best ones in. But I suppose LST'ing and FIMming one plant would make up for smaller plants. Guess I'll just go with it and see how it goes and I'm using a 400 watt hps in a closet, and have it just high enough so it doesn't burn em. maybe 14 inches and there's three plants under it.
