The aero cloner is 36 sites with 2 square feet. I currently have a 65W fluorescent Fluorex putting out (supposedly) 500W of 6500K output light. Do I need anymore fluorescent light for a 2 sq ft area? Also I am having this in the same room as my flowering I am planning on putting it all in a box with an intake and exhaust fan. I am planning on keeping the water clean with either H2O2 or SM-90. Can I keep the clones as long as I want? Will they start dying out or growing too tall after a certain amount of time? I am hoping to be able to keep them over a month at least, I am going to be growing in the sea of green method.

I also have a 36 site aero system for flowering. This is strictly for flowering plants in the sea of green method (clones).

Where should I keep my mother? In soil next to the 36 site cloner system? How many watts of CFL am I going to need? Etc. Anything you think I should know before I start

too many cfl's to consider actually using them. also, i know weed out grows aerocloners quickly, you may want to consider only doing 4, or if it's sog 10.

yeah i would use an HID for sure or probly more than one for a 36 site system thats a lot of plants gonna need an ass load of cfls go with HID lighing

i dont agree with that. Its not really the size of your garden room that determines the amount of light you need, its the number of plants and what stage of growth there in. If your using that setup for seedlings or cloning then CFL's would fit rite in but to flower 18-36 plants ( i say 18 due to the 50/50 male/female ratio) you will deffinetly be better off with a HID setup. To flower with CFl i recommend no less than 3 bulbs per plant depending on lumens so you d the math, whats more convient for you...People need to keep in mind about flouros. ITS NOT THE WATTAGE its the lumens output. You can have 17W T5HO bulb that puts out 3 times the lumens of a standard T12 40W bulb. Lumens its the strenght of the light power, Higher the lumens the brighter and more penetration power you'll have to seep thru the canopy to the lower limbs Wattage is just the ammount of electricty needed to power said bulb.. this may be of some help to you CFL guys Constructing a 100% CFL Grow

I still thing you would be better off goin with a HID light for 36 plants just think of the money you gonna spend on all those cfls may as well get a HID make less work for yourself with adjusting the light all the time i mean they are gonna grow fast in a hydro setup and keeping the cfls really close without burning could become an issue if they grow to fast while you are away

guys its a tiny 36 site aerocloner. it isn't a full grow. its 2 square feet total in size its a tiny cloner. i was asking if my 65W CFL would be enough to root and maintain 36 clones while my other 36 site system flowers in the SoG setup. again, what i am asking is only for 36 clones/seedlings, it is not for a full system im not stupid and would not try to flower 36 plants in aero with a CFL that's like an oxymoron.

I d reccomend about 150 -200 cfls considering that should just about equal what a HID light can do.............................moron.

Yeah that should be fine but just keep it up off ur clones till they sprout a good amount of roots. U really dont need that much light on ur clones. As long as u dont put them right on ur clones you will be OK. U could have went with just shop lights for ur cloner, the T12 work just fine too and they are really cheap too. But Im sure u allready know that, U prolly had them lieing around, HUH.lol

i was asking if my 65W CFL would be enough to root and maintain 36 clones while my other 36 site system flowers in the SoG setup.
In ur flower room are u going in pots? How many are u planting to flower at a time? R u doing a Prepetual harvest?

If i where u i wood do a prepetual harvest SoG since u all ready have a mother plus cloner and a flower room. But u need to keep all thoose in seperate rooms as they grow.

again, what i am asking is only for 36 clones/seedlings, it is not for a full system im not stupid and would not try to flower 36 plants in aero with a CFL that's like an oxymoron.
Moron.................lol

I just want to help out since no one can read b4 they give u advice. That bugs the shit out of me.

I know its been a while since u posted this but if u need any advice please do, I can help u prepare ur prepetual SoG that way u can have a harvest every 2-3 weeks. Do the math, thats allot of Dank.............

you only need a little light for cloning. too much light makes they wanna grow instead of root. some people only clone with ambient lighting...

65w of cfl is fine for rooting. Shit ive used a 23w for 30 clones before and just side light from a t5 in a veg tent. I personaly run 4 23w cfls over my 3 domes in a homemade hood. if anything buy a y splitter and add one bulb but 65w will get them rooting.

These people saying use a hid are silly...

I would do moms in soil or soil-less. Its easy and low maintenence.
