How many 40 watt CFL's do I need?

Hey I need lighting for 6 mother plants. I'm gonna go with the CFL 40 watt day light 6500K spectrum. How many do you think I need?

you would need a freeking lot once those mother plants got big enough (2 months) to start providing clones.. save yourself a major pain in the ass and get (4) 40 watt cfls for the first 4 to 5 weeks of growth then switch to something much better.. like 4 100W CFLS or 2 200W CFLS or even bigger the more light the better.. leggy stunted mothers provide leggy stunted clones..

even better get a 100 - 150W Metal halide light , that will work much much better then those cfls for full grown mothers

I think u need alot, maybe 8 or so...

cost me $16 at home depot.. They are 27 watt bulbs.. I use it for side lighting with my 400 watt hps but Im sure you could set 2 of these up for vegging..
