How Long......

ok so i just planted 5 seeds in 5 cups in soil. just plain old soil with some little sticks in it and the white fert balls. i planted them about a half inch down in the soil. the soil was moist and after i covered the seeds with the little white root down and put a few drops of water over the dirt i covered it with. now my question(s) is this

1. did i do everything right
2. if so how long should it take before they sprout up (i live in florida and were in 90 degree weather)

it could take anywhere from a week to 2 weeks depending on what strain it is ,

when i do direct seeding i dont go no deeper then half of my fingernail on my index finger ,

just got to wait and see my man ,

i like to germinate mine first on a paper towl though so i can see if it germs or not..

i did germ them
they all have the white root right out of the bottom

what type of light u using my man my seedlings sprouted real quick like in three days i started to see a leaf lol it depends on the light cycle hope this helps and dont use a window as light weak buds and weak yield

pure sunlight their outside in the backyard and their just plain bag seeds

since you germ them first ,

it shouldnt take but a few days ,

and like thcluv said , what type of light you got helps also ,

i like to start mine under cfls for about a mounth or so

then i introduce them to hps...

oh nevermind i see your doing out doors ,

it still shouldnt take but a few days...

you should be good at that 1/2'' you did ,

like i said i dont do mine that deep , it just might take a day or 2 longer to push through that extra soil ,

and i wouldnt water them unless they were getting dry ,

burry them , water them , wait a few days and presto , ( hopefully anyway )..lol

Oh another thing is don over water
