How long would smoke stay in room?

i smoked a "snapper" and tried ghosting it at 11:30 (almost 2 hours ago) and exhaled the little remaining smoke out of the window . I have a fan about 10 feet away from the window facing outside. I walked downstairs and walked up and I didn't really smell anything but still paranoid my father could smell it in my room in the morning . I lit a candle earlier also. I'm probably just being way over cautious but just want to hear others opinions. I admit ,the raw smell of the weed itself is very strong . I have yet to move out of my fathers house unfortunately and started smoking again.

Yep....I can have a raw bud in my room with door closed and it can be smelled through out the house ( 1700 sq ft ...vaulted ceiling). Burned it can be smelled several house later. Vape or take regular evening walks, wear a smoking jacket to remove before entering home. But still......yep.:hump:

placing fan blowing outside, and close the rest of the window with a curtain to create negative pressure effect, that way if you smoke behind the fan, it should be gone within minutes. as for the neighbourhood, they will still smell it

My wife an I had a nice 3 paper last night and then got paranoid as our daughter (who is 23) rang and said she would be coming over to pick up something...

Checking each others eyes, dimming lights..etc etc etc..we think we got away with it. Way to ruin our high, kids are a pain.

Answer to the OP..smoke will go away fast..the smell wont..smoke outside.

instead or creating a problem (smoking in the house) do the smart thing and not create the problem (smoke outside.) unless you like drama in your life...
