How long until harvest?

Hey all, how long left do you think? She's just at the end of her 7th week from seedling.

Just so you know it's my first grow so I'm learning a lot as I go. Using DWC/hydroponics system, Ionic Grow/Bloom/Boost nutes, 1 x 200W and 2 x 20W CFL on 18/6, Auto-Flower (devilmatic / little devil)

These were taken a couple of days ago. Thanks!

Looks to me that you still have a long way to go. She looks likeshe's just starting to flower. I know how exciting your first grow is but, patience is a virtue. You'll see her buds get bigger the longer she grows. Even though the description says that autos grow in 8 weeks, it often takes much longer. Here's what buds look like closer to harvest. Plant looks nice and healthy, nice work.

great, thanks for that gopherbuddah. Yeah, looks like i'll keep at it until she's ready! I know the lighting I'm using isn't the strongest which is probably another reason why she'll be a while longer than expected.

Your pic looks great, wish I had something like that...thanks again

Thanks all. I'll keep at it. Most of the smaller top leaves close to the buds are starting a small frosting now which is great to see. Again, I know its a fairly weak light source, hopefully it'll produce a good few grams!

Anyone else use hydro / dwc? She's grown much larger than I expected so I had to dismantle some shelves to make space. At the moment she's in behind the washing machine (i know i know, but that's seriously the only space I have for now!). I've been changing the water and nutes every week. But now its in such a tricky area that I risk snapping plenty of stems when moving her out for a clean. Can I get by for a few weeks with just topping up the water and not actually changing it completely? Perhaps some sort of suction device to extract all old water would work ok? I do have a funnel for topping up the water anyhow... Anyone else do something similar?

Hey guys, just to update you. Here are the latest pics of the top leaves and buds. Hoping she'll be ready before mid-Janurary... what do you think? Progressing ok?

The first pic has the flash on, the other two are using the light from the CFL also:

Hey bull. Around day 27 or so she showed that she was female...so if you mean from that point, she's being flowering for around 36 or so days today. She's starting to sprout a lot of orange trichomes now (is that the right usage!?). I'll try and get a magnified shot over the next few days

Hey all. Hope you had a good Christmas break. Just got back to mine after being away for a few days and she's looking fairly well. The only thing was that she was short on water in the hydro system, and I've one very weak fan circulating air...the top leaves are going a little brown and spotty. Any ideas?

Besides that, here's how she looks. Do you think another 2 - 3 weeks or so and she'll be ready? Thanks:

the second and third pic looks like some buds are almost ready for harvest (according to the rule that 3/4 pistils are red). This burning you have on your leaves probably its because she dried out but also looks like she is overfertilised. Water her only with water for some days to get rid of the fert taste

happy new year man

the spotting looks like a deficancy to me, but could be lack of fresh air had this on a lot of the newer hybrids?going on when you started your posts and info ive read they look ready now matey just give them a flush . I find a lot of 2nd generation autos dont do what they say on the tin. your breed normally 6.5 to 7 weeks from first hairs! call it crazy but i stress my autos with 36 hours darkness just before flush and it defo increases the trichs. by the way triches are crystals they turn amber ish when ready hairs turn orange and autos for me dont apply to the two third orange rule. hope this helps fella

Hey gantsa and boyzey, shit, stressing now! Thanks for these posts or i may have waited a while more. I was treating for deficiency first by flush and then with some epsom salts (was reading up on a lot of symptoms). As of last night she's on 1/2 strength nutes with a spoon of epsom... wish I had seen your posts first so I could start the flush instead.

So here she is right now (excuse the dim lighting)...each picture is a different stem/bud!:

My question: Will I drain the DWC bucket immediately and replace with just water...leave for about 2-3 days in darkness and begin harvesting?

Thanks again! :weed:
