hi all. im still pretty new to the dabbing world. ive been taking dabs for about 2 months months now, like all day(i need a life). Now bong hits topped with keif dont hardly do anything to me. i feel like im involuntarily detoxing :O

So im cleaning out my rig for the first time, i used 91% walgreens alcohol. I poured it into a huge margarita glass, let it sit overnight. It didnt seem to evaporate much, so i poured it into a rectangular pyrex dish. I let it sit over night again. Now it seems all alcohol has evaperated, and im left with very sappy residue coating the bottom of the dish.
I just scooped a tiny bit up and put it on a hot nail and there wasnt any sizzle. Does this mean its ready to smoke? Or should i put it in the vac chamber and griddle like i was purging butane?

iso is easy to purge off in thin layer and usually there is residual water left in it that will cause it to snap crackle and pop on the nail. But if your getting no pop then its good, I think we asked this before, why are you smoking reclaim?

lol cause i am in love with dabs! i cant get enough, and now that im out, reclaim is looking tasty. I grew up smoking shwag and scraping resin and filtering bong water to get high. the reclaim i have looks like a delicacy compared to that lol.

i just put it in the vac chamber at 100 degrees and its bubbling like crazy.

well, "was" bubbling like crazy. it hasnt even been 5 minutes and the small boiling bubbles are gone. now theres just 3 big bubbles.

i also noticed it isnt like bho thats just been blasted. I put it on parchment paper and it seems extremely liquidy and doesnt stick together. Was i suppose to keep it in the pan? or will it eventually thicken up so that it will stick together making it easier to collect?

u fucked up by using denatured alcohal... ur supposed to just use ure torch to melt the reclain and guide it out the rig. dematured alc. taste like shit everclear works better and u coulda winterised it this way and made shatter. reclaim doesnt taste as goid as fresh if its been sitting in water.. but if you have a rig with a reclaim dish that keeps it from getting wet it

im not really quit sure what winterizing is exactly. Is there a thread on here that could better explain it to me? ive tried looking up info on it several times and could never really find anything out.

no you don't I am sorry using your torch is probably the worse way to recover reclaim.
and it will only taste like shit if you dont purge it off everclear or iso when using them

Acetone works best for bho. Just swirl it around and it works like crazy. When it is dissolved in a minute or so, spill it in a stainless steel container like a shot glass and light it on fire. The fire heats the container and evaporates quick w a flame not so intense if it isn't topped off. The product ends up tasting nothing like acetone, unlike isopropyl.
