HERRO!

I have some hash i made and i have been trying to read up on how to dry/cure it. I have had no luck, like with most things in growing there are 1000's of different opinions.
How do you guys dry and cure it out here in teh desert?
I have it on a plate drying, its sort of in chunks the size of a marble. What sort of signs am i looking for to tell if its "dry enough" and needs to go into a jar?

thanks for any answers cheers!

I usually dry in my wine cooler (60-66 degrees) for about 24-48 hours...usually it is dry enough to smoke by then. From there I will break it up and throw in a jar. From that point I treat it like bud. Burping every few hours... I do this with my bubble hash not dry ice...

Never tried dry ice. Is it easy to make? And what does it come out like? Keif?
Dry ice is so easy a special person could do it with one hand. Just make sure you use the right micron screen. The final product comes out like Kief. The one drawback is dry ice can change ur flavors and cause differ strains to have a similar taste. Try it out and see for yourself, I still think tumbling is the best way to go.

i just remembered i have a good sized kief box that i haven't used in years.

the screen got clogged because, umm, i got high and wondered what would happen if i took a handful of leaves and rubbed them on the screen. won't be doing that again.

i need to figure out a way to clean that sucker. it doesn't come out of the box.

thank god for the internet. :)

When doing bubble, I just leave the bubble on the plates over night, after 24 hours I use a razor blade to release it from the plate, then i let dry for another 24 hours then I put it in containers and smoke it right away. No need for curing.

My question for those of you who make dry ice kief, what size micron do you use? I did 120 the first batch came out ok but not as good as i would have liked, Im wanting to try a 73 or 90 next time but im curious as to what others use.

Cant give away all the secrets but definitely use a 73 or 90 next time. It's always nice to have some form of compressed air around to clean the bag after a run. ESP. If you are shaking different strains and want to keep them separate.
