How long till...

Hi guys,how long till your seed start growing from the moment you put in soil.I bought 1st time 10 seed of Withe Widow and none crak/open...none.The guy send me 10 more and only 8 of the 10 was good seed,the other 2 was dry empty flakes.

Now,i put them in towel paper and one make a nice root and another open just a little and came a little tail/root,very small.So i plant the one with big nice root and the other wait few more days to see what happens....nothing,they look the same so i plant it anyways.

My question is for the nice root one,how long till i see something growing ?

You buying these seeds from a reputable breeder? The one with the nice root growing sometimes within a day...sometimes a week or so..just keep the soil "moist" and cover the container with plastic, and keep it relatively warm and in a dark place until it pops up out of the soil...

The room temp is 69...is that ok ?

I think it's on the cold side for babies

definitely a little bit on the cold side for seedlings/clones...my clones are suffering due to low humidity and low heat at the moment...once I get a chance to build a veg area I'll throw a humidifier in there and the lights should be plenty sufficient to keep the area warm

sometimes three days or longer even with a tap root they take a little longer to get to the surface just let them to their thing. If you mess with them you will probably kill them.

Oh no Balzac89...i dont even tuch them,i just be sure that the soil dont get dry...buy i dont mess with them at all.

not sure how u do things, but one thing i do is the paper towel method. i drop a seed in water for 30-60 sec and make sure that it floats, i wont plant sinkers because it usually means no oxygen in the shell (that could be an old wives tale, just something i started doing). anyways, wet a paper towel, wrap the seed in it, place it in a cup under some light, and if u wait 3-5 days, you should have a seedling. the shell should be mostly removed, there should be a root, and a tiny bit of green growth. that wait you dont have to worry if the tap root grew out crooked and forced the plant to grow sideways or upside down or just fail to break through the soil.

Well,fron 10 only 8 was good.Then 1 out of the 8 make a nice root,the other was like very poor tail/root.I plant the one with a big root in a soil.Soil is organic soil 50%,worm casting 25% and perlite 25%.The soil is moist and i plant the seed 1/2" deep nice and soft soil.

WTF ??????...im getting very angry with this shit.And plz....dont tell me to stop messing with the seed,soil ect....im NOT doing nothing,im just be sure that the soil nice and moist.
