I have my one female plant(bagseed) which is about 6 weeks old, vegged for 2 weeks then threw into flower, and know its about 6 weeks into its life(42days) 16"in height and showin its bud sites and white hairs all over the place.. So I want to know when should the plant start to give off its smell?? because till now its still not not smelling too much yet:confused:

I've heard reports of plants starting to smell as soon as flowering begins and I've heard tale of bud that didn't smell until it started curing in a jar. I think it's very specific to the individual plants and not even a strain thing (just going by the massive amount of stuff I've read) Honestly the bud will always develop a smell in the end and since the smell is a give away I would almost consider myself lucky to have a plant that didn't stink to high heaven from day one of flower. ...that's just me though.

I have noticed that if you was to flush it right now....then it would start smelling immediately . i did this twice in the past and it caused a very strong odor within hours. good smoke , let me tell ya.

keep in mind I have only 1 female plant and another one that refuses to show sex, even after weeks of being on 12 /12.. I can imagine the odor begins to accumulate and become overwhelming when u have 5,10, or 15 plants

my were smelling strong when they were vegging.. they outgrew there closet so i built a box for em..... wierdest thing is when i moved em in there to flower... the smell is gone.. im wondering if maybe the fresh wood that i used to make the cabinet is like absorbing the smell?? does anyone know if this is possible or had something similar happen..... trust me i dont mind that they arent stinkin.. u can always rub that stem and get a great wiff of whut they will smell like

Mine are in a wooden cabinet as well and have not been anywhere else, so maybe It could be that the wood absorbs some of the smell??cause when I open the cabinet I get a slight scent but not overwhelming or anything.

that is my only guess bro... was the only variable in my equation so thats whut im thinkin... haha i was actually tripping out one day cuz i always keep a window in that room open to get that fresh city air.. and i thought i could smell it out front my house... was really paranoid but i never noticed it again.. im thinkin it was a car outside that hit a skunk or something... but i was worried as hell for a few hours...

mine smelled in closet too. since i put them in a box they dont smell anymore...or atleast yet. i wonder if it is as simple as not having as much air circulation?
