So I put the seeds in paper towels until they cracked and had little roots then put the 1/4+- inch deep in soil and covered. Anyone have an idea how long it should take them to break through the surface?

hmmm I put mine in last night, so I'll wait until tomorrow morning before I get nervous.

They need to go under light as soon as they sprout right?

I actually used a spray can and misted enough water over the soil to get it to settle a bit. is that ok?

I have trays with 15 cells in each, and in order to keep them moist, I just put ceran wrap over them. Its not air tight but ought to work.
