how long do your clones take to root?

i have some clones that i cut about 10 days ago, they all look good, standing up straight and green. the lower leaves are starting to turn yellow at the bottom. but i still dont see any roots. it was kinda cold (around 70) in there until last night and i made a root warmer from a low wattage light. hopefully that will help. the clones were taken from healthy mother plants. the mothers rooted in about a week using the same cloning method.

Should be seeing roots soon. Mine usually take about 14-16 days to show roots.

warming up the bottom of your tray will help root faster all the time. The cold temperature will just make it impossible or very slow to root. I usually always get roots by 5 to 7 days. I keep them in a warm place about 78 to 82 and 3-4 days later i add the heat mat and 2-3 days later roots always show. Quality gel is also a must for faster rooting time. Ive had roots in 4 days double dipping in 2 different rooting solutiona. Some genetics might take longer then others.

Domes might help out. I clone in sectioned 2 liter bottles, f*ckin things got roots @ 4" long within 7 days.

the mother plant clone rooted in about a week. im assuming its the cool temps that are whats slowing me down. im using clonex root gel (i think thats what its called) and i have a dome too. i mist them at least once or twice a day.

how warm is too warm for the roots? right now im using a 23w cfl, would a 60w regular lightbulb be too hot?

Ive heard a heat mat will speed rooting by a couple days.

so they still havent rooted. they still look healthy and arent drooping at all. i took 14-16 cuttings, ive broken open 3 or 4 and they didnt show any signs they were going to root. should i toss these and take some more cuttings or should i let them go longer? i have 2 mother plants ready to take plenty more cuttings if these prob wont root. i think its been 16 days now.

if i need to take more i was planning on making a DWC cloner and try that out.

I just took a 3lb tapeing mud bucket and put 5 3/4" holes in the lid. Then cut 5 3/4" peices of pvc 3/4" long and hot glued them to the five holes in the lid. Then took 2 plastic fish tank hose splicers and put then threw the top of the bucket just under the lid. leave room to connect the lines. I cut a hole on the top ring of the bucket to put the heater cord in. make sure there is no light leak there. Got 2 4" bubble stones and a air pump. I wrap the cuttings with heat vent filter and stick them in the holes and plug it in. I have a few crappy pic's but you can see it for the most part. I even cloned a flowering bud and finished it. but had heat problems the roots like cooler water after they gey going. I've put the clones in dwc, soil, and coco.
