How long do seeds last?

So getting ready to start my first grow and when I was looking at seeds the sight was gonna give me free seeds. Don't really believe in letting things go to waste but I wanted to concentrate on one easy strain first. So will the free seeds last 2-3 grows while concentrating on the one strain?

Viable seeds if stored properly can be good for years. Answer to your question yes if those free seeds are viable. Best of luck.

Freezer or Fridge.

If I plan on using the beans within a 5 year period I store them at room temperature in the dark. If I plan on keeping seeds more than 5 years then I put them in the fridge in a container that protects it from light.
