How long can you keep plants vegging, before cutting the light cycle back to flower?

The reason I ask is, I have a small hydro system, with 2 feminized photo period and 2 auto plants.
The 2 Auto Sharks are blooming strong. I've been running the lights for 18/6, for probably 6 or 7 weeks.
I kind of want to give the autos maximum light, before flowering the non autos. Thanks for advice RIU.

You can veg for a year if you wanted. Just keep it fed and cool and perfect conditions and she'll be fine.

As long as you got room, remember your non autos can grow to 2x-3x their current size once you flip but if you have room you can leave them in flower for a very long time. Even if you are running out of room you can do some training (LST, FIM, Supercropping) to get them to grow horizontally. Given the room, you could easily go through several cycles of autos before switching your photos to flower lights.
