You don't ph the tea, the beneficial fungi and or bacteria set the ph according to which presence is more dominant. And don't use fertilizers, the idea of the teas is to feed the soil, not the plant. By feeding the soil you are making the soil web come to life and adding more beneficial organisms. Additionally, the fertilizers kill of microbial life, which, once again, is what we are trying to enhance. Hope this helps.

Maybe. Maybe not. What I'd do is take out the fertilizer and brew the tea again without it and substitute some seaweed or kelp meal for it. Brew it for 24-36 hours and you have a living treat for your plants.

1 gallon R/O water, 1/4 cup worm castings, 1 tbsp all purpose (4-4-4),1 tbsp kelp meal, 1 tablespoon High(N) seabird guano, 1 tbsp unsulphured blackstrap molasses, 1 teaspoon liquid fish.
Bubble for 24 hours and dilute with at least 1 gallon R/O water. stir between feeding plants.
This is a super charged tea recipe. If in flowering, add 1/4 cup FoxFarm Big Bloom to this mix.

I cant believe how many of you guys go out of your way with RO water..... If you have an RO setup... I can see using it.... Myself and many....many others have been using aerated tap water (city, not well) just fine in living soil mixes as well as brewing compost teas with NO issues at all... Theres loads of magazine editors and all kinds of people saying that RO water is a must....its not.. Aside from MJ specific sites, regular gardening sites suggest aerating tap water for a couple hours never mind 24....basically straight out of the tap watering living soil mixes and making aact teas.

I am all about the "to each his own" and all that, but with so many newbs around going out and blowing $ on things they dont need because someone posted their recipe for an aact tea that contained RO water...I'm not saying your wrong in any way for posting what you run but unless reverse osmosis is NEEDED for someones specific area... not everyone needs to run it. I live in a large city/metro area and run aerated tap water just fine as I said above in my living soil/aact teas.... I actually had more issues running RO water... I'm not saying you dont need it but not everyone does.

doesnt most city water have chlorine or chloramine in it, which kills the beneficial bacteria in the tea? and chloramine does not simply evaporate? just puttin it out there
