How long can autos go in FFOF without nutes?

After scorching my first few grows with overfeeding I decided that this auto grow, I'll start them from seed in 2 gal containers of FFOF and just give them distilled water w/ cal mag till they get hungry


now on day 37 and a week into flowering, they still look happy as can be (I think). Question is how long will this last till I have to feed nutes? How will I know if they're hungry if I just wait till then?

Planning on doing 1/4 strength FF trio once per week because I'm afraid of overdoing it X______X

They could go the whole time without nutes , but if your looking for good yield, bulky buds, and tricome smothered weed. You want to introduce phosphorus at the first sign of flowering. If your worried start small , and limit it to once a week . You avoid nute overload. But it will still make a difference. Thats just my $.02 . Happy growing. Your girls look good.

In my experience the soil starts getting pretty depleted after 3-4 weeks

3 - 4 weeks has been my experience unless you have a massive container of soil.

Better to up-pot anyways, give fresh soil intermediatly, and creates a better root ball.

Ahhh that makes sense...thank you bro...this week I'm gonna give them some tiger bloom and some big bloom, that should do the trick

Go less with the bloom. Keep it in the mix but you want the phosphorus to dominate your girls nute intake. I never fully rake the nitrogen out of the mix but definitely lessen it when I'm in flower. It should help. Again just my two cents

I grow for a cannabis company and also grow plants for people in my area. Commercialized cannabis has limitations on what you can and can't use so I'm very basic and still get the best results. Everyone grows different but the end goal is the same. Manifest all the advice you get and make it your own. The best ingredient is love. Sounfs funny but so true

Right about now is usually when they get hungry in OF. About a week or so into flower. Keep up on it so your not battling a deficiency from behind.
