ive had seeds in a paper towel sprout after two weeks before, but most will sprout within the first week just put the paper towel on a plate and pour a whole bunch of water on it and check the seeds every day.

I put them in a cup of water till they don't float anymore usually about a day, then put them in a damp paper towel, in the dark under a warming mat for 24-48 hours.....98% success rate doing that!!

In my experience, most seeds germinate in 1-3 days. If it takes longer than a week to germinate, it's usually a runt and dies b4 harvest anyway. I usually wait 10 days for good measure and then toss them.

Thanks for sharing your experience guys/gals...
I had a few in paper towels
and a few in cups right in the medium
equal amounts sprouted both ways very quickly and are growing nicely
but I still have a few that look dark and wont pop .
its been 2 weeks easy on the ones that haven't sprouted yet.
