I personally lose faith in nutes after7 days.( even with an air stone or two ) Without aeration or agitation of some sort, combined with elevated temps can sour a batch of nutes in a couple of days.

Your signature is fucking annoying I don't even feel like trying to help. And your ppm is WAY too low for a thriving plant in veg no matter what nute line. Is that 500 or 700?

600 is PLENTY high enough for thriving plants in veg-Sometimes i don't EVER go above 800 the entire grow. My plants growing right now get fed @800ppm. Don't diss someone's sig then give bad advice.

Back on topic, nutes will stay good for about 7 days if you can keep the temp at or below 68degrees. I recommending keeping it aerated or turbulent if you plan on keeping it that long, but a few days is fine without.

That's why your plants are shit, smoke like shit, and yield like shit. Squidbilly. Don't pretend to know how to grow your out of your league on this one. 800 is so pathetically low, my plants would go yellow and die. Don't know what you do, shotglass grows? Micro grows?

cup? gallon? because i don't want to throw off the ppm's and ph.

also, since i have you guys..what max ppm in veg?..flower? i'm at 600 in veg current.

thanks for the awesome quick responses:hug:
It's strain and medium dependent. I'm growing Bubba OG and Headband which people say are nute whores, but they are thriving at 800ppm(150 of that being cal/mag) in flower(I do multiple feeds per/day in coco). I 'over' fed for years, upping my ppm until i saw a little bit of burn, then backing off. More food doesn't equal more growth. The plant will only take what it needs and the rest is flushed out/wasted. I say keep it under 800ppm in veg and TRY to keep it under 1000ppm in flower.

This is horrible advice is their no one with a reputation on here that can steer this poor guy in the right direction. Your right to not over feed, but to tell him an exact number to follow is stupid. Is his water hard? Maybe he lives in a lagoon and its like .4 ec to boot. So any number you give him will be under feeding. This site is starting to blow.

Change your tampon and come back when you learn how to disagree like a man or adult. Your opinion and experience would be helpful instead of insulting the op and myself.

current is 600ppm.

just looking for a little guidance since i'm new to hydro.

600 PPM is plenty. That was solid advice. Squidbilly has shown plenty of his own work around here that demonstrates he knows what he's doing it. There is really no reason to go higher than 850 in most strains, I've found.

The best part is that you won't have to flush at the end.

ec 1.2 / 600ppm is fine
some more sensitive plants will slightly burn on ec1.4 during veg

never seen a plant yellow on a 1.2
mothers will stay green on a 1.2-1.4

Hey Skunkdoc, you seem to know the conversion, or where to look, my schedule lists in EC, but I can only read in PPM. Can you tell me how to convert. Currently it says to go at 2.4, which seems real high, considering I cut it in half and still carry about 600-700 PPM.

2.4 is full strength its a little high i would let it get this high during the height of flower
weed plants do not use very strong ec if you look at other plants/ fruiting plants they can handle 3.2 ec

i have no idea about ppm from memory i never use that scale i will have to look at the truncheon to tell you lol

i would normally think of it as CF as this is what i started with, i tend to quote in EC as more folk tend to understand that one

2.4 EC = 24 CF= 1680 ppm x 700 = 1200 ppm x 500

peace
