How is the smoke in your country?

In my country the weed is usally passed by 4-5 people before it's sold so noone knows what strain or who grew it. And i have payed way to much for it. usually a 5ish goes for 80 euro, Sometimes you get some kickass weed but that happens 1 out of 10. The rest 9 times you get a bag of shit for 80 euro. The weed market is controlled by criminal gangs so noone can sell anything except them and they provide us with shit weed.

I used to travel to Denmark to get some weed, You pay 25-30 euro there for a 5ish and it's top notch weed. And i used to buy 100grams and take back home to my country(great discounts on bigger buys), but thats risky and there is a chance you get caught taking it back home. I know many weed sellers and im well into the weed community in my country but there is just not any good weed around here unless you find a great home grower that can provide you.

So i started to grow on my own. It's my first grow so it will prolly go to shit but hell im gonna learn so me and my friends can enjoy some good weed.

How is the weed in your country? Is there any other countries that have the same problems that we have here where criminals have the market and don't care about the quallity on the smoke they sell and not letting any home growers to sell anything? It's shit and this is why it needs to be legalized.

I live in Alberta, Canada, about an hour and a half from British Columbia, one of North America's premier cannabis areas. Much of the weed in NA comes from BC. I know several professional growers here, so when I'm in between runs (or I want new strains), I have access to the sources directly.

Funny you mentipn the quality vs crimilaity issue.

Here in spain where there are weed clubs i find the quality of average weed to be extremely poor and even though ive had extremely potent and well grown strains i still think the average quality, and by this im mostly referring to potency, was better back in the UK where its much much more ilegal than here.

every province in Canada is a lot different, especially comparing east coast to west coast

The most readily available & common (and shitty) smoke in our area of the US is your typical "reggie" schwag which has so many fucking seeds /stems it will drive you ape-shit just trying to roll a joint. It goes for $60/ 1/2 oz. and we have actually decided to never buy pot anymore (after smoking this shit for a while). Nothing beats your very own homegrown

it's okay you get some questionable hash sometimes. best bet is to grow your own stuff.

The UK is plagued with poor quality fake "cheese" that has clearly been blasted with hormones & fake "haze's" that are sprayed with somthing even nastier. Most of it has smell additives ect ect..... yet the population thinks they are smoking "high grade" and have no idea what real weed looks like & will turn it down & will pick the contaminated & faked stuff instead.
There is a few "cheese" smell additives going around. I had a seed out of one batch that I suspected... tested it and the seed grew & smelled like the "shawg" or known in the UK universally as Thai.
also the smell seems to evaporate out the bud hours after purchase. One type smells like sunstruck hops mixed with blue berries. The other is a bit sharper ... both poor copies of real cheese scent.

Yeah its crazy how quickly this has become the norm.... when I started, quality weed was plentiful.

having same problems as the topic starter. everything you can get from the "market" is made for the market, meaning it's essentially cheap with no quality. i got angry when my ex brought in the end spice to the house, the worst shit ever (people have died because smoking it, and it WAS shit anyway). she herself was totally oblivious.
the point is, grow your own if you can. if you fuck up, it's you not the idiot dealer who's laughing somewhere.

here in PH the weed is very illegal, but the funny thing they cant STOP people to hit A GOOD SMOKE!... the problem in PH most of your source will snitch you.
